Credentials
Dr.
Ibrahim Melki graduated from the American University of Beirut school
of Medicine in 1986. His eight years of post-graduate training included
six years of General Surgery and two years of Plastic Surgery at
Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. He subsequently
completed a fellowship with world renowned Dr. Fernando-Ortiz-Monasterio
in Mexico City, Mexico.
Dr. Melki received extensive training in all aspects of Cosmetic,
Reconstructive, Hand and Burn surgery. He is the recipient of several
awards including the Harwell Wilson award for surgical excellence.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the
American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Melki is a member
of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a fellow of
the American College of Surgeons, and a member
of the Lebanese Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
Dr. Melki has admitting privileges in several hospitals in Lebanon
in order to accommodate his large array of patients. He performs
his operations at the following centers: Trad Hospital and Medical
Center (Beirut), Hazmieh International
Medical Center (Hazmieh), The Eye and Ear Hospital (Naccash),
Centre Hospitalier du Nord (Zghorta), and The Melki Medical Practice
(Tripoli).
